PAT Testing

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) checks the safety of any item which has a plug and is intended to be connected to a plug socket, whether it will be used in the workplace (where an employer must ensure electrical equipment is maintained in order to improve safety) or in a home.

Along with regular visual inspections, a simple test by a qualified expert can determine whether a plug-in appliance, such as a photocopier or microwave, is faulty and may pose a risk of electrocution. Faulty appliances can also lead to electrical fires that can spread throughout a building.

We offer portable appliance testing along with a full range of domestic and commercial electrical services. If faults are identified, we can remedy them efficiently and cost effectively. Our fully-qualified electricians are trained to the highest standards to ensure 100% compliance with current PAT regulations.
